Posted 1 year ago by Soraya in OptiBac in the Press
Here at OptiBac we already know what a great probiotic Saccharomyces boulardii is and it now seems this is slowly catching on in the media too. Today, The Daily Mail ran an article in its Good Health column dedicated to S. boulardii and its use as an effective treatment against conditions such as IBS, IBD & Crohn's Disease. The article particularly cited S. boulardii's ability as an anti-inflammatory and its consequent benefits to those suffering with Crohn's Disease. The article also mentioned the on-going study being undertaken at the Aga Khan University Hospital, in Pakistan, where a placebo-controlled trial of 70 patients suffering with diarrhoea are being treated with either S. boulardii or a placebo. Watch this space for the results!
OptiBac says: See For bowel calm - OptiBac Probiotics is the only UK company to make a Saccharomyces boulardii probiotic.
