Are OptiBac Probiotics organic?
It is difficult to label probiotics as organic, as the term ‘organic’ generally refers to plants farmed or animals reared under strict organic standards. However, our probiotics are cultured on a dairy base that is of organic standard – the livestock were reared without the routine use of antibiotics, without the use of growth hormones, and with no genetic modification. What’s more, the prebiotic, Fructooligosaccharides (FOS), that we use in For daily wellbeing, For a flat stomach and For your child’s health is derived from organic chicory root. The extracts of plant origin in For daily immunity (Grape Seed Extract, Green Tea Extract and Pine Bark Extract) are all organic too. Phew!
