"I have been taking probiotics for the last 4 years to try and improve my digestion, blocked sinuses, low energy and eczema, and I've found it's been a long process to get the best effect. I eat very healthily - vegan and gluten free and have healed myself substantially but my bacteria are still my weakness. These Extra Strength are definitely the right ones for me. I changed to them about 9 months ago and gradually noticed more and more improvement. I now have "normal" digestion and am eczema free for the first time in 40 years - yay! I experimented by changing to different probiotics - still very strong and a reputable brand, but cheaper - and I was back to bloating, a small patch of eczema and almost diarrhoea, low mood and exhaustion within a week or two. It then took me 2 weeks to get back to good health by going back on these - I also took 2 of the ordinary strength ones daily for an extra boost. I make my own soya yogurt and pickles and eat natto to ensure I get plenty of variery of probiotics, but my experiment proved that these capsules are definitely the key for me. I spent several months on [Brand Name] which is 4 times the price, and it helped but did not "cure" me like these have done. So try these but if they don't work after a month or 2 try one of the others in the range because the bacteria you need will be very individual."

"From day one I have not felt ill with these capsules. I am now nearly at the end of the sample and I am still feeling fine. I do, however, still get bloated but I have noticed a small improvement in my tummy. I believe I need to try the product for a longer period to see more of a benefit. But I would say to anyone with IBS related constipation to try this product as it does really help.
The only reason I am giving this a 4 is because of the price. If it works, I guess it pays for itself in some respect. Also, it would be nice if it came in a larger pack, say 60 tablets.

So have been taking for last few days before realised probably doing more harm than good. Dear Lauren, thanks for your feedback, & apologies for the confusion. We market the wellbeing probiotics alike because they have similar indications - but as you say, in practice they are different formulations. This EXTRA Strength version should not contain gluten, but it may have come into contact with gluten during the manufacturing process. We chose to be especially cautious and to not include a 'gluten free' tick on this product. Have you felt any problems taking this probiotic? "Was recommended this product by a man working in a health shop as i had been telling him that i was having some flatulence problems. Wasn't sure why.As it happens the same day i was talking to a trainer in my local leisure center about my purchase and the reasons why and he advised me that wheat may be my problem also with phytic acid and the other reasons to stay off wheat products.
