It produces the ‘OptiBac Probiotics’ range of health supplements, which are sold in independent health food stores and pharmacies across the UK & Ireland. Job Description

The role is varied and tasks include the following:

  • Sales ledger data entry
  • Credit control
    • Debt chasing via telephone and written
    • Taking and posting credit card payments
    • Daily filing of sales ledger invoices
    • New account opening
    • Maintaining existing accounts
    • Sending monthly statements
  • Reconciliation and posting of online sales
  • Review online and trade customer returns and action refunds where applicable
  • Expenses claims analysis for payment
  • Working closely with the Accounts team, easing their workload

  • Experience working in an office environment is essential
  • Accounts or book- keeping experience necessary
  • Practical experience of Excel essential
  • Sage or Xero accounting software preferable
  • Experience providing excellent customer service necessary


  • Education to GCSE A* - C standard or equivalent in English and Maths essential
