They say any publicity is good publicity, but when your products are mentioned in one of the most-read publications in the country, it’s great publicity! We’re delighted that our ‘For every day EXTRA Strength’ has been recommended for eczema symptoms in the Daily Mirror, in their recent article on skin health. Well done, Daily Mirror, for spreading the word about the importance of good gut health!

Our 'For every day EXTRA Strength' has been featured in the Daily Mirror!

The article, which was also featured in the Irish Daily Mirror, explained that although stress-relieving holidays and summer weather can help with some skin problems, for others, sun, salt and sand exposure can worsen symptoms and make sufferers even more miserable. To help avoid holiday-related skin horrors, some useful advice was offered regarding holistic support for a variety of different skin conditions, including psoriasis, acne, and eczema. Recommendations were made by pharmacists and skincare experts, including consultant dermatologists and nutritional therapists from the Nuffield Hospital group. Our ‘For every day EXTRA Strength’ was the choice of Nuffield’s nutritional therapist, Sally Temple, who said that taking probiotics before and during your holiday “can reduce eczema as well as your risk of tummy upsets by decreasing intestinal inflammation’.

Choose the correct probiotics for your needs

We’d agree with Sally’s choice of product, as ‘For every day EXTRA Strength’ is often used by our customers with skin problems. We also offer a child's product designed to be used by children from birth to twelve years of age: ‘For babies & children’. Also, whilst it’s usually absolutely fine to take your favourite OptiBac Probiotics product with you on your holidays as they don’t require refrigeration, if you’re travelling to a very hot and humid location, then I would remember to pack your OptiBac Probiotics ‘For travelling abroad’.
