It's all systems go at OptiBac Headquarters and this week is no exception - we've been featured in the press again! This time it's one of our favourite health magazines, Top Santé, who've recommend our ace supplement Saccharomyces boulardii in an article all about gut health entitled 'Time to go pro!', words we live by here at the office.

The article features some knowledgeable advice and suggests maintaining a fibre rich-diet, without processed foods or refined sugars, to keep 'bad bacteria from proliferating'. It also suggests trying some fermented foods that 'contain good bacteria' such as sauerkraut, kefir or kombucha to get a dose of friendly bacteria from your diet, who knew?

Top Santé recommends our Saccharomyces boulardii alongside a few other live cultures supplements, and we know our S. boulardii stands out from the crowd, as it's actually a friendly yeast as opposed to a friendly bacteria. Healthcare professionals can read more about this very special strain on the Probiotics Database.

Overall we're just thrilled that the press is taking more of an interest in gut health, fermented foods, and the wonderful world of the microbiome.
